Instructions

Crockpot Method

  1. Combine Ingredients: Add the chopped chicken, Blue Cheese dressing, hot sauce, and 1 cup of shredded Cheddar cheese to the crockpot. Stir until well blended.
  2. Add Cream Cheese: Cube the softened cream cheese and scatter it over the chicken mixture.
  3. Cook: Set the crockpot to low and cook for 1-2 hours. Stir well, then cook for another 20-30 minutes if the mixture isn’t smooth.
  4. Finish and Serve: Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of Cheddar cheese on top, cover with the lid, and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Serve hot.

Stove-Top Method

  1. Heat Chicken and Sauce: Warm a small amount of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped chicken and hot sauce, cooking until it starts to bubble, stirring continuously.
  2. Add Cheeses and Dressing: Incorporate the softened cream cheese, Blue Cheese dressing, and 1 cup of shredded Cheddar cheese. Stir well, then reduce the heat slightly.
  3. Melt and Serve: Continue to cook and stir until all the cheeses have melted into a smooth mixture. Serve directly from the skillet or transfer to a large dish.

Oven Method

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the hot sauce and mix well. Incorporate the chopped chicken, Blue Cheese dressing, and 1 cup of shredded Cheddar cheese, mixing until well combined.
  3. Bake: Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and top with the remaining 1/2 cup of Cheddar cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the dip is bubbly and golden brown.
  4. Serve: Remove from the oven and serve hot with your choice of dippers.
