How to Make Beef Stroganoff:

- Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, sauté onions and mushrooms until soft and golden.
- Create the Sauce: Add garlic and flour, then slowly whisk in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Let it simmer until thickened.
- Combine Ingredients: Stir in sour cream, add the beef and noodles, and mix until well combined. Serve with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
About the BEEF:
For this recipe, tender cuts of beef like sirloin or flank steak work best. They cook quickly and stay juicy, making them ideal for a creamy stroganoff. Always cut against the grain for maximum tenderness.
What to Serve Stroganoff Over or With:
Beef Stroganoff is traditionally served over egg noodles, but it also pairs beautifully with rice, mashed potatoes, or even a fresh salad on the side. For an extra touch, serve with crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
MAKE AHEAD, STORING AND FREEZING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Make Ahead: You can prepare the beef and sauce a day in advance. Store in the fridge, then reheat before serving.
- Storing: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
